DESCRIPTION:Smokey Bear is celebrating his 80th birthday this year\, and the library is celebrating with a special reading challenge throughout the month of October! Smokey Bear Reading Challenge sheets will be available for pickup starting October 1. The reading challenge is suitable for ages 4-10\, but children of all ages are welcome to participate! Read at least 3 books and earn at least 4 badges to complete the challenge and receive a certificate of completion and an entry in the library’s Smokey Bear 80th Birthday Prize Drawing. Start by taking Smokey’s Pledge and then complete at least 1 activity in a section to earn the badge. Stop in at the library to receive a Smokey Bear sticker for each badge earned (while supplies last). Hand in completed reading challenges by Thur. DESCRIPTION:Smokey Bear is celebrating his 80th birthday this year\, and the library is celebrating with a special reading challenge throughout the month of October! Smokey Bear Reading Challenge sheets will be available for pickup starting October 1. The reading challenge is suitable for ages 4-10\, but children of all ages are welcome to participate! Read at least 3 books and earn at least 4 badges to complete the challenge and receive a certificate of completion and an entry in the library’s Smokey Bear 80th Birthday Prize Drawing. Start by taking Smokey’s Pledge and then complete at least 1 activity in a section to earn the badge. Stop in at the library to receive a Smokey Bear sticker for each badge earned (while supplies last). Hand in completed reading challenges by Thur.
